Bonjour — I'm Claire.
Mum to my little Lily. French-born, Surrey-based. Former production engineer who used to visit chocolate factories for a living — genuinely, the best perk — and who walked away from all of it because a lockdown baby changed everything.
I picked up a camera when Lily was born and couldn't stop. Not because I was trained. Not because I had a plan. But because I looked at her one morning and thought: I cannot let this disappear.
So I didn't. Three years, hundreds of sessions, and more than hundreds of five-star reviews later — I am still here, still doing this, still getting a little emotional at every gallery I deliver. Because this job is not really about photography. It is about time. And what we do with the small amount of it we get.
I built this business entirely on passion. I still hold a part-time corporate role — and I say that openly, because it means every session I take on is a choice I make from the heart. Not from financial pressure. Not from a quota to fill. Just because I love it, and because I genuinely believe the work I do matters.
For the past few years, I have also reinvested every penny this business has made back into my education — training with some of the most respected photographers in the world, learning what took them decades to discover. I bring all of that into every session.
And then there is my studio in Warlingham. A warm, peaceful space that feels nothing like a studio — more like someone's beautifully calm living room, where babies fall asleep and parents finally exhale. This is where I get to do what I love. I am so glad you found your way here. 🤍

What it feels like to work with me Your session should feel like one of the most relaxed mornings you've had since the baby arrived. Not a performance. Not a checklist. Just you, your family, and someone who genuinely cares about getting it right.
From the moment you enquire, I am with you. You'll receive regular emails at every stage — so you always know what's coming next and never have to chase me for an update. If you have a question in between, I'm a WhatsApp away.
Before your session, I'll send you everything you need — a welcome guide, a styling guide, and a personal note with anything specific to your booking. If you want to chat outfits, I am here.
On the day itself, you arrive and I take care of everything else.
My studio is warm, quiet and unhurried. There is no rush. There is no such thing as doing something wrong. If the baby needs feeding, we feed the baby. If the toddler needs five minutes to warm up, we give them five minutes. I have been doing this long enough to know that the best photographs rarely happen on a schedule — they happen in the in-between moments, when everyone forgets the camera is there.
I will guide you gently — a suggestion here, a small adjustment there — but mostly I want you to just be present. Hold your baby. Look at your partner. Forget I exist. That is when I do my best work.
Within a few days of your session, I will share a sneak peek on Instagram (with your permission, of course). Your full gallery — beautifully edited, carefully curated — will arrive within two to three weeks. And from there, I'll be here to help you choose your prints, your album, or anything else you'd like to keep forever.
Because the photographs are the point. But the experience of getting there — that is what you'll tell your friends about. 🤍
