Intimate Moments in the Heart of London — A Creative Session for Breastfeeding Mamas

I love to run creative photoshoots regularly during the year. It fuels my soul, and I love to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. Something that I have had in my head for a while, an idea, coming from what I read or see in the world.

The last creative shoot I did was in central London.

The focus was on creating raw and intimate moments between a Mum and her baby. I rarely have Mums who let me share their breastfeeding photos so I wanted to focus on that to have a better portfolio and something so relatable that it talks to any Mums. Also, it is often hard for first time Mums to get comfortable in front of the camera, even more showing some skin. If you are comfortable doing so, please contact me, as I am always looking for breastfeeding Mums !!

The location

An old brick warehouse nestled quietly in a London back street. Big windows with natural light, facing North so it was a soft beautiful light.

This place has both a raw spirit but also something warm about it, with the brick walls and some wooden props.

The models

I had 3 models for the morning. 2 Mums with their babies, a 3 months old and a 1 year old, and there was a pregnant Mum too.

The moodboard

I like to create a moodboard for my creative shoots, to share the vibe with my models and if there are any specific shot I really want to get from the session.

Here is the moodboard I had for this creative shoot in London warehouse :

The result

Here are some of my favourite photos form this creative shoot in London. I love the darker vide and moody edit. It’s also an opportunity for me to try a different type of editing vs what I usually do in my own studio.

If you fancy being a model for one of my future creative shoot, please contact me by email using the button below. I have a few ideas I want to run this summer so there will be a few opportunities !

I can’t wait to tell you more about it !

Much love

Claire xx
