Hey Mum, Dad! So you have booked your Smash Cake photoshoot with me and now you are wondering where you could buy this big helium balloon or any other nice little props that you see on Pinterest or Instagram ?

1/ Helium balloon

It’s usually a must-have for a smash cake photoshoot, as toddlers love to play with it. It makes your photos super memorable for their First ever Birthday.

You can either inflate it with helium so it floats, or just blow it with your mouth so then your toddler can play with it. I quite like to blow them with just air for older kids too from 3+.

I recommend to get a 40” size.

2/ Personalised Flag

It’s a very nice touch when you add something personalised in the background of your photo for this special milestone.

4/ Personalised wooden spoon

This is a very nice touch because you get to use it for many years even after your Smash cake photoshoot.

I also have some little props already at my studio which we will be using, like my wooden One sign to put on the top of the cake, or a wooden birthday cake to play with at the beginning of the session. I have some big white letters which are making a simple and nice background too.
