Maternity outfit ideas for Mums-to-be, which are photoshoot friendly

Wether you are happy to show some skin and celebrate every inches of your beautiful bump, or wether you are feeling a bit nervous about your new body , don’t worry Mama, I am here to guide you.

First, if you have already booked your session, have a look at my Styling guide.

If you haven’t booked yet, keep reading for ideas.

The Classic Jean and white t-shirt (or just bra)

Simple, timeless, and comfortable, even if you can’t zip your jean anymore, please bring it, as it always make beautiful photos.

I especially love the result in black & white photos too .

Instead of a white t-shirt, we can also style it with an oversized white shirt (take the one from your husband for instance !)

Flowy maxi dress

Perfect to flatter your bump , lot of fabric to play with. With very often the options to show the bump or not.

Most of my dresses have sleeves too, if you feel not so comfortable showing your arms. I have a few brown dresses I adore ( especially a latest Organza arrival) and a spanish lace cream one.

The suit

I love this style so much too, as it’s giving such a strong woman vibe ! I have added a black suit in my wardrobe, which I absolutely adore. So I am always thrilled when a Mum picks it for her session. I don;t have any other colour of suit, but feel free to bring your own. I love the vibe of a creamy jacket with a jean.

The Black Robe

New to the client wardrobe since end 2025, I really adore how dramatic and flattering is this robe.

The oversized white shirt

Giving you that Sunday morning out-of-bed vibe. Oversized so it is comfortable and covers most of your body, while still revealing your beautiful bump and a shoulder. Very sexy, to remember your body with love.

The white bodycon Bardot dress

Simple and classic, it shows all your shape. I always recommend to have no underwear with this one, but you can still wear your bra. Perfect for Mums confident in their body and who wants to show off their shapes.

Sheer cape or kimono

Absolutely gorgeous in both B&W and colour. It is slightly see-through and reveal all the beauty of your body.

Just make sure to bring white or nude underwear and bra.

Dramatic dress

This is one of my master piece in my client’s wardrobe. It is a 2 pieces dress, so you can wear the skirt below or above your bump as you wish.

It is also great to play with or toss it around you, while I change my shutter speed to a very slow pace. That’s amazing for creative images!

The Ultimate Queen gown (my most chosen piece)

Right, this is one of my latest dresses and I absolutely LOVE it !!! You can wear it just as it is, or if you don’t want it to be that much see-through, you can wear my beautiful nude slip underneath (this other can also be worn on its own). This dress is also so perfect for post-partum , for your newborn session or even with little babies. I used it in a warehouse session in London and just love the result.

Just underwear and bra

Timeless, classic and oh so sexy. To remember it all, and what your body achieved. You will look back at these photos in many years, thinking how damn beautiful you wear !

There are a lot of other options for style, like a chunky jumper off one of your shoulder, or a cardigan.

If you like the boudoir style, you can just be in your underwear or a bikini.

There is no limit, your body is just amazing and beautiful, and you are only pregnant for 9 months (or less) in your life, so make sure to capture your body to remember it ! You are beautiful, Mama.
