You will then receive your Welcome guide + Styling guide, alongside next steps
Newborn sessions are penciled based on your due date, and re-adjusted once baby has arrived ( I block several dates before/after the penciled date and only take a set amount of newborns each month)
WHAT TO EXPECT
during your session
Baby-led session, slow paced and relaxed
No poses will be forced on baby, they lead the show
Simple and minimal posing ; no need to look at my camera ( if you mainly want photos of all of you looking at the camera and smiling, this is not really my style)
Connection over perfection, I will guide you and prompt you, to capture mainly the in-between moments, when emotions are raw and authentic
No props, no baby in basket ( please find another photographer if you want this style !)
Creamy colours (timeless earthy tones) and natural light
Natural and minimal editing . I will retouch skin for redness, acne, scars. I like to leave baby skin’s flakes as it’s so cute
Cosy and comfortable studio, tea & coffee on arrival
As many breaks as we need ; time for nappy change, feeding and coffee
Parents and siblings always included ; you will all be in the frame ( if you want only photos of your newborn alone, I am not the right photographer for you, I love capturing your family connection)
For older babies & toddlers, be sure to book your session after their usual nap time ( not before)

CLIENT WARDROBE
If you don’t know what to wear, I have a Client wardrobe for Mums, babies and kids up to 3 years old. Most of my dresses are from small brands, all over the world, celebrating motherhood and driven by emotions.
With romantic designs and boho vibes , there is a dress for you on my clothes rack. She will make you feel beautiful, strong and empowered.

My in-home studio is located in Warlingham, South London (Surrey) . You can park in the driveway so there is no stress about parking !
Bus 403 stops near the house. The closest train stations are Whyteleafe or Upper Warlingham.

For Newborn session or in-home session, it lasts up to 2 hours with breaks for nappy change and feeding.
All other sessions last 1 hour.

My style is very neutral, which makes your photos timeless. Think Earthy colours like beige, brown, ecru, grey or pastels.
I will send you a Styling guide prior to the session with tips on what to wear or what to avoid. I also have a client wardrobe.

You don’t need to worry about your newborn’s clothes. I have lot of beautiful little pieces for them in my Client’s wardrobe and we also use blankets to wrap them at the beginning if they need some help to fall asleep.

It's better to reschedule then. Nobody wants to do a shoot with a fever or runny nose! We can reschedule once for illness without additional fees.

I shoot Wednesdays, Fridays and some Saturdays (priority for family with kids going to school).
Newborn sessions are only on week days, in the morning, when baby is more settled.
Maternity, Baby, Family in the studio can happen anytime between 10:00 to 15:00.
Outdoor sessions take place 1h to 1h30 before sunset.

Don't worry I am not looking for this posed fake smile! I will give you simple direction & prompts, and will make you feel comfortable. I will capture those littles moments where everyone is relaxed & having fun.

It can get frustrating for parents. I find over time that the following things work best : don’t ask your kid to smile or say “cheese”. Forcing them to get in the photo is the worst and usually don’t work.
If there are siblings, I will start by taking photos of them on their own, because they deserve to have their moment to shine too! We then move on to capturing all your babies together. I like to use little stickers that I hide in baby’s blanket and then ask the toddler to find them.
This way, once we are done with the siblings photos, they can go play on the other side of the studio or go out for a little walk if they want some fresh air. This also provides you with time to soak in your baby - often, parents tell me it is the first time they have been able to do so since coming home between the midwives and family or hospital visits and it is very welcomed.

Yes I do. I will ask you beforehand in the questionnaire, but you can also let me know during the session if you want it to be captured (breast or bottle fed)
