Hello & Welcome, I’m Claire

After having my little Lily during lockdown, I became even more passionate about capturing your Motherhood journey from the beginning.

There isn’t any experience more important than pregnancy and welcoming your newborn. Having photos to remember your most meaningful moments in life is truly a gift you will never regret having.

I am a down-to-earth, honest and sensitive soul. I love going on adventures with my Lily and seeing the world through her innocent eyes. If you feel that I am the right photographer for you, let me know and we will find a date.

  • COLOURS : White, cream, beige, light or dark brown. These neutral colours are timeless and mix well together

  • AVOID matchy-matchy, for instance all of you wearing white. Avoid logo, text and character on clothes

  • MUM : Comfortable flowy dress. I have lot of beautiful options in my client’s wardrobe

  • DAD : a simple white shirt with either a short or trouser in neutral colours ( brown, beige, grey…)

  • TEXTURES and LAYERS is a good idea

  • NATURAL make-up and hair ; you want to look like “you”. Don’t forget natural nail polish too as I often take close-up of hands.

Opened field or forest

Local places near my studio in Warlingham, Surrey (or up to 1 hour travel if you have a location)

Late afternoon for forest or 1 hour before sunset for the opened field

Tips on how to prep little ones for outdoor

  • Adjust nap time during the day

  • Make sure to have a low-key day so they are well rested

  • Have dinner before the session

  • Bring their pyjamas in the car

  • Have zero expectations, we will go with their flow

    One late night won’t significantly disrupt your child’s routine, but it will provide you with beautiful, lasting memories. So, take a deep breath, relax, and let the magic of the golden hour unfold.

If you don’t know what to wear, I have a Client wardrobe for Mums and Babies up to 3 years old. Most of my dresses are from small brands, all over the world, celebrating motherhood and driven by emotions.

With romantic designs and boho vibes , there is a dress for you on my clothes rack. She will make you feel beautiful, strong and empowered.

YOU ARE HERE! If you’re ready to book, simply reach out and we’ll find a date that works. You can secure your date by paying your £100 deposit and signing the contract. This is all you need to do to get started. If you put your phone in the form, I will contact you for a chat.

PREPARE

I’ll send you a questionnaire before your session. This helps me understand your vision for the session. I’ll also send you some helpful guides so you know what to expect on the day and can start thinking about what to wear.

Today is the day ! If you come to my studio, you can park in my driveway. If we shoot outdoor, we will meet at the location directly.

SESSION

I will deliver your gallery within 2-3 weeks. You have 14 days to go through your photos and favourite with the little heart icon the 10 images you would like as part of your package .

If you love too many or all of them, this is when you can upgrade or invest in Prints and Albums (up to 4 weeks delivery for Products). You can see my samples at the studio during your session and you’ll also receive my Product guide. Order via your gallery’s store or the Client store on my website.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My in-home studio is located in Warlingham, South London (Surrey) . You can park in the driveway so there is no stress about parking !

    Bus 403 stops near the house. The closest train stations are Whyteleafe or Upper Warlingham.

  • For Newborn session, it lasts up to 2 hours with lot of breaks for nappy change and feeding.

    All other sessions last 1 hour.

  • My style is very neutral, which makes your photos timeless. Think Earthy colours like beige, brown, ecru, grey or pastels.

    I will send you a Styling guide prior to the session with tips on what to wear or what to avoid. I also have a client wardrobe for Mums and baby.

  • You don’t need to worry about your newborn’s clothes. I have lot of beautiful little pieces for them in my Client’s wardrobe and we also use blankets to wrap them at the beginning if they need some help to fall asleep.

  • It's better to reschedule then. Nobody wants to do a shoot with a fever or runny nose! We can reschedule once without additional fees.

  • I shoot Wednesday, Friday and some weekends (priority for family with kids going to school).

    Newborn sessions are always in the morning when baby is more settled.

    Maternity, Baby, Family in the studio can happen anytime between 10:00 to 15:00.

    Outdoor sessions take place 1h to 1h30 before sunset.

  • Don't worry I am not looking for this posed fake smile! I will give you simple direction & prompts, and will make you feel comfortable. I will capture those littles moments where everyone is relaxed & having fun.

  • It can get frustrating for parents. I find over time that the following things work best : don’t ask your kid to smile or say “cheese”. Forcing them to get in the photo is the worst and usually don’t work.

    If there are siblings, I will start by taking photos of them on their own, because they deserve to have their moment to shine too! We then move on to capturing all your babies together. I like to use little stickers that I hide in baby’s blanket and then ask the toddler to find them.

    This way, once we are done with the siblings photos, they can go play on the other side of the studio or go out for a little walk if they want some fresh air. This also provides you with time to soak in your baby - often, parents tell me it is the first time they have been able to do so since coming home between the midwives and family or hospital visits and it is very welcomed. 

  • Yes I do. I will ask you beforehand in the questionnaire, but you can also let me know during the session if you want it to be captured (breast or bottle fed)

  • I don’t at the moment, but I am looking into it, so watch the space.
