The experience
My Maternity sessions are all about you and your bump. We will tailor the session to you and how you would like to remember this special time of your life. You will walk away with a beautiful collection of images and memories to display forever in your home. You get access to my Client’s wardrobe with gorgeous dresses to make you feel beautiful, strong and empowered.
Early booking is advised, you can contact me right after your 20 weeks scan.
What’s included
Your Maternity photoshoot includes 10 digital images, styling advice and access to my client’s wardrobe, link to your online private gallery with 50+ images to choose from.
The maternity session lasts up to 1 hour.
Booking
You can book your session right after your 20 weeks scan, for a date between 33 to 38 weeks gestation, when your bump will be nice and round. Early booking is highly recommended as I take only a few bookings per month. You can book a Newborn session at the same time with my Bump to Baby package at a discounted price.
A deposit of £100 secures your space in my calendar.

Your Questions Answered
When should I book my shoot ?
It's best to book after your 20 weeks scan for a session after 33 weeks gestation when your bump will be nice and round. I had clients up to 38 weeks!
Where is your studio ?
My in-home studio is located in Warlingham. You can park in the driveway so there is no stress about parking !
How long will the session take ?
For Maternity session, it lasts 1 hour. This will give us plenty of time for different poses, using different backdrops and also changing outfits (usually 2 to 3 outfits for Mums!). Your partner and kids will obviously be included in the session too if you wish.
Is there a best time in the day for the session ?
If you have little ones joining us, it’s better to book the session away from their usual nap time. We want them to be relaxed and full of energy! If you don’t have older kids and it’s just you & your partner, then anytime during day light is good.
Do I pay a deposit ?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking, to secure your session date & time. This is then deducted from the session fee.
I have a date booked, what's next ?
Once we have agreed on a date, I will send you a booking confirmation email which includes a contract & invoice. Once you have read and signed the contract and paid the non-refundable £100 deposit, your session is confirmed. You will then receive your Welcome guide & your Styling guide. I will send you a questionnaire to get to know you better and we can plan a 15 min call to answer all the remaining questions you would have :)
What should me and my family wear ?
I will send you a Styling guide prior to the session with tips on what to wear or what to avoid. I have also a few dresses and baby clothes in my client wardrobe that you are welcome to use. My style is very neutral & white tones, which makes your photos timeless. I don’t have anything for Dads, but a simple white shirt or t-shirt with a beige or grey trouser work wonder.
Do you offer products or prints ?
Yes I do. I believe that your gorgeous photos shouldn’t just stay on your laptop or phone, but truly deserved a place on your wall. I have a simple choice of products available to you, from frame to albums with some very original other products too.
I can show you some samples after your session, and I have a Product Guide I can send you.
Do you provide flowers ?
I love white gypsophila. So if you love them too and would like a bouquet during your session, I will provide it (you can confirm in the pre-session questionnaire). If you would prefer any other flowers, you are welcome to bring our own bouquet.
How much does it cost ?
My Maternity package is £250 and includes x10 digital images and matching prints.
If you would like to have a newborn photoshoot too, I have a Bump to Baby package at a discounted price to capture both milestones. Payment plan is available for this package.
I don't like camera, not sure what to do during the session?
Don't worry I am not looking for this posed fake smile! I will give you simple direction & prompts, and will make you feel comfortable. I will capture those littles moments where everyone is relaxed & having fun.
I worry my kids will refuse to be in the photo or have a tantrum ?
It has happened to me in previous sessions and it can get frustrating for parents. I found over time that the following things work best : don’t ask your kid to smile or say “cheese”. Forcing them to get in the photo is the worst and usually don’t work. We will start taking photos of Mum or Mum+Dad and eventually they will join in when they see they are missing out on the fun! I sometimes use some marshmallows to bribe them too and I will have a little surprise to offer them at the end.
What happens after the session ?
It usually takes 2-3 weeks to deliver a gallery. You will receive an email with a link to your gallery. You can select your favourites by clicking on the little heart icon. Your package will include 10 photos already, but if you love more than 10 then you can upgrade to one of my collections (see my Pricing Guide for more info). Just let me know and I will send you an invoice. You can pay by bank transfer or Paypal. I ask my clients to select their photos within 7 days otherwise there is an extra fee of £20.
Do you provide hair & make-up ?
I don’t at the moment, but I am looking into it, so watch the space.
